This is a live, two-part screen-to-screen assessment of 1) your office's readiness for an emergency, and 2) your dental team's performance during a mock medical emergency drill.
Assessments are conducted by Capt. Steve Harden or by Dr. John Roberson, a practicing oral surgeon.

Most dentists believe their practice is ready for a medical emergency.
Very few have ever had anyone check... so honestly, they don't really know.
That's the trouble with readiness: you can't see your own blind spots, and the day you finally discover a blind spot is the worst possible day to discover it, with a patient in the chair, a State Board inspector at the door, or a malpractice carrier or plaintiff's attorney asking what you've done to prepare.
(I flew for the airlines for four decades. Pilots never self-certify their readiness. Every year an examiner sits behind them and checks, because competence you haven't verified is only an assumption. Your practice deserves that same outside look.)

Who's conducting the inspection?
All inspections are conducted by Capt. Steve Harden, a former airline captain and TOPGUN instructor, and by Dr. John Roberson, a practicing oral surgeon who reviews every finding for clinical accuracy.

How it works

Purchase the checkride.

We'll send you a pre-inspection preparation checklist for both sessions. You'll know exactly what we will ask to see, with no surprises.

When you send us a copy of the completed pre-inspection checklists, we'll schedule both inspections at a time that works for you.

Conduct both inspections. It takes about 80 minutes for each session.

Provide your readiness report and next steps (if any), including how to close any gaps we notice.
Who it's for
Any serious dentist that wants certainty instead of doubts or assumptions.
It's especially for any practice offering sedation or anesthesia, where the stakes are highest and more mistakes are made.
